Louisville area to get new live music venue at The Outlet Shoppes - Courier Journal

The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass in Simpsonville, Kentucky, is getting a new venue Nov. 1. 

In a statement shared on Gary Brewer and the Kentucky Ramblers' website, Gary Brewer announced it will open Brewgrass Entertainment, a live music venue, in November at the outlet mall at 1155 Buck Creek Road.

Brewgrass Entertainment will also be the production company for the venue. 

The 6,000-square-foot venue coming to Shelby County — right outside Louisville — will bring in acts including the bluegrass, country, folk and gospel genres, a statement said. 

The venue, which will be between Old Navy and American Eagle, will have a capacity of 600, a backstage area with green rooms and dressing rooms, a full food court and vending machines. 

The first show will be Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. All shows will be at 7 p.m. and doors will open at 6 p.m. The season will be from the first Friday in November to the last Friday in April.
